Cinnamon extract inhibits acne promoting actions in the sebaceous glands as well as pro-inflammatory enzymes.
Clay
Not only is clay detoxifying by drawing impurities out of the skin, clay also reduces redness for calm clear skin.
Green Tea
Green tea is a potent antioxidant that soothes the skin and boasts anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial powers.
• Montmorillonite clay helps pull infection up and out of the skin • Blocks action of 5 alpha-reductase to combat acne • Anti-inflammatory benefits that calm the skin and reduce irritation
Once your breakout becomes a pustule (white center), apply a thin layer of Green Tea Clay Poultice as the last step in your ritual (on top of your moisturizer) at night. Leave on while you sleep for clay to draw out the infection and absorb excess oil. Remove the following morning with tepid water before cleansing. Always wear SPF the next day to prevent unwanted pigmentation. Use following extractions at night to disinfect the skin. Once there is no white center, apply the Vita C Serum to inhibit PIH (post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation).
This spot treatment also works well for skin infections, bee stings, bug bites, and other forms of inflammation. It can be applied as a mask for acne and left on the skin for 5 to 10 minutes once a week.
